HOME - New York Teaneck International Film Festival

HOME is a poetic film program by interdisciplinary artist Sagí Amir Gros, exploring the fragile yet powerful idea of home as memory, body, culture, and longing. Rooted in his Jewish and European-Yemeni heritage, the works transcend borders, reflecting on migration, identity, displacement, and belonging.

Developed through Gros’s philosophy Physical Script, the program combines screenings with live performance, followed by an Artist Talk & Q&A.

Film Program

• Silence Force (2017) – Meditation on motherhood and resilience, performed by Shirley Esseboom (Nederlands Dans Theater). Premiered at the Louvre Museum, Paris.

• Two(HU)Men (2025, world premiere) – Featuring Syrian twin actors and a Jewish dancer from Germany, exploring migration, identity, and human connection.
