The WDTanztheater - WDT is a new artistic initiative in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
With a fresh and dynamic approach, WDT aims to connect diverse people, communities and artists through innovative contemporary dance and artistic practices that integrate film, theater, and music, collaborating with experienced international artists and partners. Additionally, the WDT team is developing and implementing educational programs for both professionals and the general public. Diversity is a core value of our artistic practice, and we frequently address themes of representation and inclusion to raise awareness of individual stories, particularly those of people who are underrepresented. Creating a safe space for connectivity within our artistic platform and voice is vital to us.
