Your Silence is Loud is a dance theater creation by internationally acclaimed director and choreographer Sagí Amir Gros and WDTanztheater. In a world filled with extremism, this creation seeks to cultivate empathy and belonging, representing individual narratives through a blend of theater, physicality, and dance. It emphasises the differences between cultural identities, with the authenticity of its characters fulfilling the transformative human need for connection.
Your Silence is Loud follows a deeply personal journey through the lens of loss, drawing on Sagí Amir Gros’ s unique 'Physical Script' philosophy, presenting authentic experiences through the embodiment of , dance, music, physical expression and connection between personal stories and people.
Your Silence is Loud amplifies collective voices for hope, creating a space to navigate the complexities of life and loss together, proving that even in the face of harsh realities, our collective voices can resonate louder than silence.

‘Dance Tells Things That Words Cannot’
WDTanztheater’s FREE Masterclass!
We invite you to take part in Phase 2 of an artistic project that brings together dance, theater, and film.
This FREE masterclass will take place from February 9–14, 2026, at Die Halle Cologne, and will be led by international theater director and choreographer Sagí Amir Gros, Artistic Director of WDTanztheater Cologne.
“Dance Tells Things That Words Cannot” is an artistic research journey that moves from personal expression toward collective connection, empathy, and representation. Participants will collaboratively develop choreographic scenes that combine dance, theater, and filmic thinking, with a strong focus on identity, resilience, and presence.
The masterclass will focus on:
• Daily in-depth movement composition, and artistic expression
• A collaborative, and inclusive working environment
• A public final showing on the last day of the project
This masterclass is open to young people with artistic curiosity and motivation. Participants from diverse backgrounds are welcome.

HOME is a poetic film program by interdisciplinary artist Sagí Amir Gros, exploring the fragile yet powerful idea of home as memory, body, culture, and longing. Rooted in his Jewish and European-Yemeni heritage, the works transcend borders, reflecting on migration, identity, displacement, and belonging.
Developed through Gros’s philosophy Physical Script, the program combines screenings with live performance, followed by an Artist Talk & Q&A.

'All My Colours for You' is an interdisciplinary art project by award-winning international artist, theatre director, film director, and choreographer Sagí Amir Gros. The project features a film installation that integrates dance, theater and performance, offering individuality, and cultural identity. Drawing from Sagí’s diverse background, which includes both Jewish and European-Arabic heritage, the project transcends borders, offering a deeply personal yet collective experience. It bridges the fragmented aspects of the human spirit, creating a space for unity and self-reflection. Through his innovative creative philosophy, known as "Physical Script", Sagí Amir Gros embodies the idea that creativity is a living, evolving force, constantly in motion and shaped by the body and the environment. The exhibition highlights the resilience of the individual, the strength that comes from unity, and the experience of the immigrant body, shaped by both displacement and belonging. 'All My Colours for You' is an invitation to celebrate our shared humanity, and recognize the boundless hope that drives us forward, a testament to the human spirit’s ability to adapt, unite, and thrive. ​​

AUDITION
Theater director and choreographer Sagí Amir Gros and WDTanztheater are looking for strong dancers for the new creations "Your Silence is Loud" (premiere at TanzFaktur Cologne) and "Ewig Sommer" (premiere at Staatstheater Erlangen, Bavaria). These productions also include performances in Cologne, Hagen, Erlangen, Amsterdam and Utrecht. The creations are developed within the framework of the creative philosophy "Physical Script" developed by Sagí.
Requirements:

Very strong technique (classically trained).

Must live in Germany and have a German address.

Places available for professional contracts (minimum 3 years of proven professional experience) and also for stagiaires/young dancers.
